Griffin Productions, a multifaceted marketing company specializing in tourism began in 1988 by providing printed guest directories to local hotels still prints a Beach Directory in Indian Rocks Beach.In 2002 they also debuted the Best Restaurants Magazines distributed along the Pinellas County Beaches and downtown St. Petersburg. It is one of the largest circulated glossy magazines in Tampa Bay and features Food & Entertainment with maps, coupons and other interesting restaurant information. It is found in most tourist accommodations, and many restaurants and visitor centersIn May of 2005, the concept for the Neighborhood Newsletter, now the Neighborhood News Magazine was born. The first issue was Indian Rocks Beach printed every other month with information city residents wanted, with a little history too. It was so popular a Belleair issue was added, followed by Clearwater Beach.In 2021, Pete and Lora Magnani, owners of Magriff Productions joined the business and in 2022 they assumed production of the Indian Rocks Beach News Magazine. They added a Dunedin edition in 2023.On January 1, 2024, Bob and Becky Griffin, owners of Griffin Productions retired and turned over production of the Belleair Area and Clearwater Beach Magazines to Magriff Productions. The company is producing The Neighborhood News in four areas, six times a year – Clearwater Beach, Belleair Area, Dunedin, and Indian Rocks Beach. |
